Russell Edwin Champ, 86, of Jackson, TN passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014.

Mr. Champ was born the son of the late James and Blanch Keith Champ. He married Patricia Cumberworth. She preceded him in death August 7, 2013.

Russell was a veteran of the Indiana Army National Guard. He was a Mason, a member of the Moose Lodge, and was involved with the Senior Olympics for several years. He was a retired supervisor for Johnson Controls Electronics Division. He was associated with the AARP Tax Aid Service for several years.

Mr. Champ is survived by two sons, Larry B. (Kelly) Champ of Cairo, MO and Garry J. (Marsha) Champ of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Monday, September 22, 2014 at Otter Creek Cemetery. Rev. Marvin Wright will officiate.

A Masonic Service will be conducted at 12:00 PM.
