On February 1, 2009, James passed away and Dorothy remained in her home with the loving help of her daughter, Jenny, her other children and family members.
Dorothy loved to cook and bake, collect dolls, spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she loved animals. She also loved to quilt. She and Jenny helped in creating hundreds of quilts that were given to the needy through Spring Prairie Lutheran Church.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; daughter-in-law, Terry Weichmann; sister, Berdell “Toots” Opsal; brothers, Harold “Fuzz” Camren, Odell “Pete” Camren, Jr.; and several sisters and brothers-in-law.
