A funeral for Rebecca Marvel Brandon Reynolds of Grand Ronde was held this morning in St. Michael's Church, Grand Ronde, with the Rev. David Janes officiating. Interment was in Green Crest Memorial Park, Sheridan.

Mrs. Reynolds died June 16, 2001, in a Sheridan care home. She was 86.

She was born July 25, 1914, in Rosebud, S.D. She moved to Grand Ronde in 1932.

She married Leslie Reynolds.

Mrs. Reynolds worked at the Blue Lake Cannery in Salem until she retired at 65. She then worked selling Indian jewelry at flea markets. She loved to play bingo.

She belonged to St. Michael's Church and the Rosebud Tribe of South Dakota.

Survivors include two daughters, Cherie Butler and Erma Hernandez, both of Grand Ronde; a brother, Tony Brandon of Portland; a sister, Amelda Majors of Ketchikan, Alaska; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adamson's Sheridan Funeral Home.
