Willie C. Bridges died Friday, March 3, 1978, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was 67, a native of Mississippi and a resident of Baker. He was a retired employee of Billoups Western Petroleum with 30 years of service.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Sykes Bridges, Baker; two sons, William G. Bridges, Baker, and Samuel T. Bridges, Hattiesburg, Miss.; one brother, E. Lee Bridges, Baker; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Bennett, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Nina Lynch, Mangham, Mrs. Virgie Clegg, Baker, and Mrs. Angie Lindsey, Prentiss, Miss.; six grandchildren.
