Mrs. Tillie Spessard dead at 100 years
Mrs Tillie E. Spessard, 100, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday afternoon.
Born in Middleburg, Pa., she was a daughter of Abraham R. and Mary E. Sourbeck Brewbaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was the widow of Elmer S. Spessard.
She is survived by daughters, Miss Louise P. Spessard at home and Mrs. Mary E. Carl of Harrisburg, Pa.; son, Hubert B. Spessard of Chevy Chase View, Md.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Rest Haven Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert L. Regenold officiating; entombment will be in the Smithsburg Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
The family requests the omission of flowers and memorial donations may be made to the Community Rescue Service.
