NOTE: Based on documentation, Albert's birth date is uncertain. His WW I draft registration lists May 28, 1889; His WW II draft registration lists only 1889. Both documents certified by his signature. His sister, Mary Peters applied for a government headstone and what is inscribed on the marker fits her application with birth date of May 30, 1888. However, the death certificate lists Feb. 2, 1895 which appears to be completely in error. To further muddy the water, Albert applied for WW I PA compensation, for which he received $50, he listed his birth as Limestone, PA, Jan. 15, 1892.
