Services for Doc Armstrong, 61, grocer and longtime resident of Cottle County were held at First Methodist Church officiated by Rev. I.E. Biggs, the pastor assisted by Rev John Crow of Sweetwater. Mr. Armstrong was engaged in farming in 1918 at Cottle County, later entering the grocery business.

Survived by his wife; two daughters - Mrs. Joe Hall and Mrs. Freddie Becker; one son - Bill Armstrong; one sister - Mrs. S.O. Minor; three brothers - Frank Armstrong, Clarence Armstrong, Lawrence Armstrong.

Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong were in Victoria at the home of a brother, Frank Armstrong when he passed away.
