Mattie Eunice Buga Meade, 67, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014, in Lorain. She was born in Morehead, Kentucky and enjoyed returning there every year for reunions. She was retired from Family Dollar, where she worked for 20 years, most recently as a field specialist. She was a member of AMVETS Post 55 in Sheffield Lake.
Survivors include her husband, Duane Meade; children, Rebecca Buga and James Buga, Jr.; stepchildren, Duane, Bobby, Stella, Fallon, and Rian; 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and her mother, Gladys Wolfe.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Messer and her sister, Nora Margaret Shreve.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 2, 2014, from 5 until 7 P.M., at the Wyers -Bollinger Funeral Chapel, Sheffield Township. The funeral service will be at the funeral home Friday, October 3, at 11 A.M. Interment will be at Brookdale Cemetery.
