Louise Lee Crabtree Hardin, 96, of South 2nd St., died September 28, 2014. Born in Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Artemus "Team" Crabtree and Bertha Wardell Allison.
Mrs. Hardin is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Charlie Hardin; three brothers: Raney Crabtree, Bernard Crabtree, and Elmer Crabtree and one grandchild, Tara Carver. She was a member at North Roxboro Baptist Church.
Surviving are her four children: Betty Wilkes, of Dowagiac, MI, Brenda Whitlow & Reggie, Jean Porterfield & Bobby, both of Roxboro, and Ruby Martin, of Leasburg; one sister, Katie Sue Eubank & Junie, of Midlothian, VA; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6:30-8:00 PM Tuesday, September, 30, 2014 in the Brooks & White Chapel and other times at the home.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in the Brooks & White Chapel officiating will be Rev. Ben Durand. Interment will follow at Person Memorial Cemetery.
