Boy electrocuted in climbing tree
Kingston - An 8-year old rural Kingston boy was electrocuted Wednesday evening when he became entangled in some live wires while climbing in a tree near his home on Wolf Road. Dead is John Crubaugh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Crubaugh. The boy was taken to the Sycamore Municipal Hospital in a Slater ambulance and was pronounced dead on arrival by a physician. DeKalb County Deputy Coroner Earl Tischer said an inquest may be continued later. Survivors include his parents; seven brothers, Michael Dean, Timothy L., Kevin C., Alex J., Guy R., and Scott D. Crubaugh and Michael David Kommusow, and one sister, Deyla, all at home; and grandparents. Services will be at 2 pm Saturday in Kingston United Methodist Church with burial in Kingston Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Friday in the Salter Funeral Home, Genoa.
