Cranmer—Abram Bennett Cranmer, son of Jeremiah and Anna' Cranmer was born at Lagro, Indiana, September 22, 1854, and died at Lake Worth, Florida, January 14, 1934, at the advanced age of 79 years. March 15, 1873, Mr. Cranmer was married to Hattie Elizabeth Cook, and four children were born to this union, Allen, Ida, Hanna, Wealtha Zipple, and Mrs. Mary B. Neale. Brother Cranmer lived to see them all laid away except the daughter, Mary, with whom he was living at the time of his death. He was baptized by Elder Post and became a
member of the S. D. A. church in Lansing in 1915, transferring his membership to the Lake Worth church some years ago.
Mr. and Mrs Cranmer lived to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary in 1923, and Mrs. Cranmer lived until December, 1927. He left to mourn the loss, one daughter, eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. Burial services were conducted from the Lake Worth Funeral Home, and interment was at Pinecrest.
