David Robert Young, 70, passed away Monday, March 22, 1993 at the LDS Hospital (Salt Lake City) following a courageous battle with Emphysema.

He was born, August 2, 1922 in Kaysville, Utah, a son of Robert Henry and Bessie Bell Smith Young. He married Beverly Coonradt, July 14, 1942, in Malad, Idaho. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1992. He was a lifelong resident of Kaysville, graduating from Davis High School.

He was a veteran of World War II serving with the US Air Force and retired from Hill Air Force Base with 32 years of service.

He was known for his love of baseball as player and coach. He was also an avid golfer and shared his talents of woodcarving.

Graveside services were held Thursday, March 25, 1993. Military honors were accorded by the VFW Honor Guard.
