Irma W. Justice Price, 67, died at 3:05 PM Monday [April 25, 1977] in Indiana Veterans Home, following a two-year illness. Born in Lafayette, she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was married in 1939 to Floyd Woodward Price, Sr., who died in 1973. He had been employed at German's Garage. Mrs. Price was a member of Miracle Bethel Church at Stockwell.
Surviving are six sons, John J. Opperman of Lafayette, Alvin Leroy Price in Kansas, Floyd W. Price, Jr., John J. Price, both of Lafayette, Edward E. Price of West Point, and James Price of Phoenix, AZ; four daughters, Mary (Mrs. Dewey) Fidler of Lakewood, CO, LaVerne (Mrs. Harold) Stevens, Roberta (Mrs. Thomas) Green, and Janice (Mrs. William) Wyant, all of Lafayette; two sisters, Marie (Mrs. Hugh) Bray of Dayton and Rosanna (Mrs. Joseph) Quinnep of Phoenix, AZ; three brothers, John Justice, William Justice, and George Justice, all of Lafayette; 43 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
