Mary and Stede had four children:

* Edward Bonnet, Sept 1713 - Aug 1751
* Stede Bonnet, Sept 1714 - abt 1764
Mary Bonnet found herself deserted by her husband in 1717, when Stede sailed off in a purchased ship on what was believed to be 'a business trip'. Whether or not news of Stede's "adventures" on the high seas reached home to Barbados, Mary was widowed less than 2 years later -- Stede Bonnet the notorious "gentleman pirate" was hanged with his crew at White Point, Charlestown, Carolina on December 10, 1718
On June 5, 1725, Mary married secondly to David Rycroft of St Thomas Parish; both parties were about 35 years of age and it is not known whether there were any children of the union
The surname Allamby has been found in Barbados with various spellings, among them Allamby, Allumbey, Allemby, Allenby and others. The Allamby name continues in use today on the Island
