Harriet Biddison, born 27 September 1889 in Leon, Decatur, Iowa, daughter of Albert and Hannah E. (Richardson) Biddison. - Iowa Birth and Christenings Index, 1800-1999
-------------------------------------------
Miss Harriet Biddison married Lowell Adrian Glaze on March 29th 1908, at the Methodist Episcopal Church in Leon, Iowa. Her sister Blanche and her husband, Harry Wright stood up with them.

Mrs. Glaze spent 40 years in church work teaching Sunday school and working with the Methodist women's club including work with the district office of that organization.

Mr. & Mrs. Glaze spent the first two years of their married life on a farm where Dr. Glaze (who was not yet a doctor) supervised over 600 acres of farm land.

They did much travel during their long marriage and have been to every state except Maine. Mrs. Glaze collected rocks from all the states they visited and made small buildings of the city of Bethlehem from the stones. She displayed them on her grand piano every Christmas.

Dr. Glaze who always seems to have a cigar in his hand, says he always smokes them because, 'they make me look prosperous'. - (Contributed by Angeline (#46976533)
