Mr. Jones passed away August 13, 2020 in Tyler, TX. He was born April 2, 1927 in Oakland, TX to the late Fred and Alvie Jane Sides Jones.
Mr. Jones was a lifelong resident of Rusk and a member of the Branded by Christ Cowboy Church in Rusk. He was retired from the Cherokee County Electric Coop where he worked as a linesman and was also a mason and a member of the Rusk/Euclid Masonic Lodge. Mr. Jones was also a member of the Shriners and he loved working with horses and cows.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edny Maxine Jones and a son, Charles Roy "Ricky" Jones.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Lisa Jones, three grandchildren, Royce Jones and wife Patricia, Matthew Jones and wife Elisa, J.J. Jones and wife Heather, thirteen great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
