He was a Logan County native born September 5, 1935 to the late Alvie Loving Holloway and Ruth Ellen Hankins Holloway. He was the owner of Ed's Barbecue, an Air Force veteran and a member of Dripping Springs Baptist Church.

Visitation at the funeral home will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and after 8:00 am on Thursday until the funeral hour of 2:00 pm.
