Mrs. Maria R. Freyman, wife of William F. Freyman, died at the home of her son, Morris O. Freyman, 643 North Tenth street, on Tuesday forenoon of a complication of diseases, aged 81 years, 3 months and 5 days. She had been in feeble health for the past two years and was bedfast for nine months before her demise.
The deceased was a daughter of the late Jonas Rauch and Polly (nee Kuhns) Rausch . She and her husband conducted the Haines Hotel near Fogelsville for many years, but on account of not being able to do the work, because of her health, they sold the place and made their residence with their son. Mrs. Freyman was a member of the Jordan Reformed church. She is survived by her husband; son Morris; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and five sisters, Mrs. Llewellyn Mohr, Fogelsville; Mrs. Amandus Albright, Allentown; Mrs. Joseph Rupp, Chapmans; Mrs. Messina Mohr, Fogelsville; Mrs. Milton Leibensperger, Allentown.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at her late home at 1.30 o'clock, followed by regular services in Jordan Reformed church and interment in the cemetery adjoining. Rev. John Guth will officiate.
