Death yesterday claimed William F. Freyman, who for twenty-seven years conducted the Upper Macungie hotel or, as it was commonly known, Haynes Tavern. He died at the home of his son Morris, 643 North Tenth street, where he had resided for the past few years. His age was 77 years, 8 months and 28 days. Mr. Freyman was the son of the late George and Hannah, nee Wiever, Freyman, and was born in Upper Milford township. After attaining manhood, he entered the cattle business and continued as a dealer in cattle for many years, with his business headquarters at Ruppsville. He finally sold out and took over Haynes Tavern. Several years ago Mr. Freyman sold out because of the ill health of his wife and moved to Allentown. Seven months ago Mrs. Freyman died. The son, Morris, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive. Funeral services will be held at the home of his son at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday. Continued services will be held in Jordan Reformed church, with interment in the cemetery adjoining. Rev. John Guth will officiate.
