Betty Katherine Alfs, 89, of Fort Smith, formerly of Pekin, Illinois, died Monday, September 29, 2014, in Fort Smith.
She was an office worker, homemaker and a member of JOY at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pekin, Illinois.
She is survived by three daughters, Patt and her husband Jim Kolettis of Fort Smith, Linda Ryan of St. Charles, Missouri, and Andrea and her husband Ron Francis of Fort Smith and their children; three grandchildren, Todd Ryan, Sydney Laster, and Niko Kolettis and his wife Kelley, and two great grandchildren, Zach and Noah Laster.
Funeral service will be Wednesday October 1, 2014 at 12:00pm in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
