Tillman Travis Thomas, 62, of Oxford, Ala., died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001, at his home. He was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church in Oxford. He was a member of Hartwell Masonic Lodge #101 and retired from Bynum. He was preceded in death by his parents, Flora Nowland Thomas and Karah Thomas; daughter, Lori Lynn; brothers, Lovell Thomas and Darrell Thomas.
Survivors includes his son, Larry Thomas of Oxford and Luke Thomas and wife, Fay of Ohio; daughters, Linda Pegg and husband, Mike of Munford and Lisa McIntosh of Dearmanville; seven grandchildren; sisters, Faye Bryant and Margie Feazell and husband, Clyde of Lenoir City; brothers, Clinton Thomas and wife, Jewel and Jimmy Thomas and wife, Florence, all of Talladega, Ala. And Franklin Thomas of Oxford, Ala.; sisters-in-law, Elwyn Thomas of Oxford, Ala., and Christina Thomas of Lithia, Fla.
The family received friends 11:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26th followed by a memorial service with Mike Pegg and Rev. Wayman Rollins officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery in Oxford, Ala.
