Earl Bastin. age 70, of Halls Gap (Waynesburg) died Dec. 10 al Fort Logan Hospital following long illness. He was a native of Lincoln County and had lived here most of his life. He was a retired trucker and a member of the Mt. Moriah Christian church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Dollie Bastin, Waynesburg: four daughters, Mrs. James Board, Stan ford; Mrs. Earl Miracle, Stanford; Mrs. Danny Smith, Stanford; Mrs Bobb Muse. Manchester: four sons Mr. Albert Bastin, Stanford: Mr. Jim Bastin, Birmingham, Mich.; Vernon Bastin, Huntsville, Ala.; Mr Earl Dean Bastin Jr., Burnside; 19 grandchildren, one great grandchild and two sisters, Mrs. William Peak and Mrs. Craig Bell both of Connersville, Ind.
Services were conducted Monday afternoon at Mt. Moriah Christian Church by : Bros. Phillip Curry Harvey Yelton and Elmore Ray.
Burial was in the Mt. Monati Cemetery.
Pallbearers were his four sons and four son-in-laws.
