Mrs. Sarah Elkins, 71, died this morning at the home of a son, Robert, 517 W. 11th, where she had been staying for about one week. She lived at 2202 Rockport Rd. Death was attributed to heart disease.
Survivors, in addition to the son, include a second son, Edgar, of Rockport Rd.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Stienhagen of Bedford and Miss Ella Deckard of Bloomington; a brother, C. W. Deckard of Mitchell; four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
She was a member of the McDoel Baptist Church, where funeral servicers will be conducted Friday at 2 p. m. Rev. Thomas L. Bush will officiate, and burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery.

Rev. Thomas L. Bush will officiate in the McDoel Baptist Church, and burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery.
