Charles Ernest Bryant, 60, 205 Naylor Street, passed away Friday in a Bakersfield hospital. He was born in Carel (Carroll) County, Tennessee, September 11, 1876, and has been a resident of Taft for the past sixteen years.
He is survived by a brother Thomas Franklin Bryant, and a sister, Mrs. Katie Berryman, both of Taft. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the Four Fold Church, Lewis E. Weston, officiating. Interment will follow in the West Side Cemetery.
