Eddie Freeman officiating. Burial followed in the Bangs Cemetery. She passed away at 10:47 a.m. Saturday in a Bangs nursing home.
Born in Coleman County on August 30, 1901, she married Morgan French in Rockwood in 1922. She was a lifetime resident of Brown and Coleman Counties, and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Lillian Goodwin of Jacksonville, Florida, Hazel Hargrove and Jo Evelyn Datson, both of Fort Worth, and Mildred Ellis of Dallas; a son, Aubrey French of Brownwood; a brother, Dick Deal of Rockwood; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren."
