Isabell Byrd Hinton, 110 of 613 Poplar Springs Church Road Raleigh, North Carolina died Saturday, March 11, at the home. Born October 21, 1895, in Johnston County, Mrs. Hinton was the daughter of the late Ashley and Enda Barnes Byrd. She was the widow of Royster Hinton. Mrs. Hinton was a longtime member of New Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Clayton. The funeral will be at noon Thursday at New Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 115 s. Robertson Street Clayton. Burial will follow in Carolina Biblical Gardens in Garner. Surviving are her children, Walter Lee Hinton of Smithfield, Nolie Burt of Garner, Arvelia Avery of Holly Springs and Ruthel Hinton, Earnest Hinton, Willie Hinton and Alton Hinton, all of Raleigh;12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren. A wake will be held from 11:30 a.m. till noon Thursday at the church. The family will receive friends from 2:30 till 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Walter Sanders Funeral Home, 302 s. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield.
