Giles Henry Basham, 89, of Oak Hill, W. Va. was a charter member of the Jones Avenue Church of God, Oak Hill and member of the Men's Bible Class. He was a retired lumber company foreman associated with the Mankin Lumber Co. in Oak Hill for 39 years. He was bom in Floyd County, Va., April 1,1881. Survivors include his wife, Virgie Lee Legg Basham; two sons, Howard of Charleston. W. Va. and Henry Basham of Panama City, Fla.; two daughters, Helen Campbell of Beckley, W. Va. and Miss Nilah Basham of Oak Hill. Burial in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak HIll.
