Miss Ruth F. Bourne, for many years a school teacher at East Wareham, died at her home Saturday night after an illness of some weeks from pneumonia. Miss Bourne was educated in the public schools of Wareham and later was graduated from the Bridgewater Normal school, and was one of the first normal teachers to teach in the schools of the town. Miss Bourne was in her 65th year and had not taught for a number of years. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. George Locke officiating.
