Obituary - Lawrence George Tiffany, 75, passed away December 23, 1995 in Salt Lake City. Born February 5, 1920 in Salt Lake City to Ira and Laura Mae Prothero Tiffany. Married Lillian Elizabeth Moser on August 20, 1937; later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.

Retired from Kennecott Copper Co., Arthur Mill, in 1979 after 35 years of service as Operations General Foreman. He was reared and educated in Salt Lake City, where he lived until moving to Kaysville in 1980. Served in U.S. Navy for a time during World War II. He was an avid golfer, fully enjoying the beauty of nature as well.

He loved flowers of all kinds and kept an immaculate lawn and productive garden.

He and his wife volunteered many long hours to the Davis Council on Aging, and to St. Mark's Hospital. Worked part time as a guard at the Freeport Center after his retirement. He was a loving neighbor and friend to all. Enjoyed spectator sports, politics and bowling. He was extremely generous and proud of all his family.

Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Carol Rasband, Layton, Utah; Michelle Krager (Jerry), Thornton, Colo.; Laura Wilson (Matt), Bluffdale, Utah; brother, Elvin, Orange, Calif.; sister, Thelma Tiffany Graham, Salt Lake City, Utah; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife; son, David Ira Tiffany; two grandchildren; two sisters, Ione Tiffany Lippmann and Ethel Tiffany Olorenshaw.

A viewing is scheduled at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, on Thursday, Dec. 28, 1995, from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to a 12:00 noon service at same location on Friday, Dec. 29, 1995.

Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
