Joe was born in Lampasas, Texas, to the late Joe D. and Minnie (Adams) Terral. He married Marie Walser on April 4, 1952 and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Joe was an employee at General Tire & Rubber Company for 38 years. He was a charter member as well as a deacon at Timber Crest Baptist and served on the La Vega ISD School Board for eight years.
Joe was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Elyssa Terral; great-grandsons, Michael and Eric Terral; brother, Troy Terral; and sister, Ruby Russell.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Marie; sons, Joe W. Terral, Tony Terral and wife, Patti, Jeff Terral and wife, Yolanda, and Darel Terral and wife, Dixie; daughter, Becky Orr and husband, Jeff; special brother-in-law, Earl Russell; eight grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces; and many friends.
