Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday from the graveside in Mount Hope Cemetery by the Rev. Norwood Gibson. Walters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Altman was born in Florence County, a son of the late William and Hester Powell Altman. He was a retired carpenter and spent his entire life in Florence County.
Mr. Altman was preceded by his wife the former Miss Inez Hill November 30, 1950 .
Surviving is one brother, K.C. Altman of Florence.
