Mr. Jimmie Kuykendall was born in Wharton County, Texas on June 15, 1903.
He married Charlett Edwards at an early age and to this union two sons were born. A. D. and A. C. Kuykendall, who preceded him in death. Later he met and married Miss Thelma Franklin. To this union one daughter was born, Michelle Kuykendall.
In 1935, he moved to Markham, Texas and here he remained until he passed.
He united with the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.
He departed this life on March 17, 1980 in Matagorda General Hospital, Bay City, Texas. He leaves to mourn his passing, a loving wife, Mrs. Thelma Kuykendall, one daughter, Michelle Kuykendall, three step-daughters, three step-sons, one brother, three sisters, a host of grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
