Betty Finch, 71, a life-long resident of Charlotte was called home at 7:22 pm on Monday, September 22, 2014. She was surrounded by her family when she began her journey. Betty is survived by her sons, Rodney and wife Linda and Morris and wife Jennifer; son in law, Robert Luna; grandchildren, Curtis, Kara, Shain, Dally, Hunter and Garrett; great-grandchildren, Emma and Hailey Betty is also survived by her sisters, Virginia Horton, Iris Williams and Judy Burns; brothers, Robert Bryan and Jack Bryan and a host of nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Bryan and Olivia Bryan-Finch; husband, Melvin Finch; daughter, Lauren Luna; sister, Jo Ann Giddens and brother, Carey Bryan. Betty was a wife, a mother, a friend and “Nanny” to many. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel, 118 W. Oaklawn Road in Pleasanton from 3:00Pm to 8:00PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Funeral Service will also be held at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 3:30PM. Interment will follow at Charlotte City Cemetery.
