Mina E. Jones, 91, of South Charleston died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, South Charleston, and was a member of the JOY Sunday school class. Mina was a retired beautician and was active with the South Charleston Quota Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Emmett and Jessie Barnett Bowyer; husband, Eldon H. Jones; daughter, Sharon; granddaughter, Robin Lynn Samples; sisters, Phyllis Morgan, Myrtle Bowyer, Madeline Ratliff and Joyce K. Boyd; and a brother, Eugene Bowyer. Surviving: brother, Marvin Bowyer of Pineville; adopted daughter, Barbara Nunn of South Charleston; nieces, Jean Ray Barnes, Joy Ferguson, Nancy Ratliff, Neva Ann Bowyer and Tina Jo Waverly; and nephews, Sonny Bowyer, Gary Bowyer, Grady Bowyer, Jimmy G. Bowyer, Dana Bowyer, David Bowyer and Dale Bowyer.
