Moyna T. Stech, 94, of Midland and formerly of Beaverton, died suddenly Monday, Jan. 15, 1996 at MidMichigan Regional Medical Center - Midland.

Born Oct. 18, 1901 in VanBuren, Ind., she resided in Midland since 1982 when she moved from the All-Bright Shores area in Beaverton. Mrs. Stech was a life member of the Beaverton Order of the Eastern Star.

The former Moyna Scott married Ernest Stech Sr. March 31, 1923 in South Bend, Ind. He preceded her in death March 23, 1974.

Surviving are 2 sons, George A. and wife Donna of Midland, and Ernest H. Stech Jr. of Chicago, Ill.; one daughter, Rosemary and husband Earl Siebert of Sanford; one sister, Vivian Graves of Madison, Wis.; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Lowell in 1957; one grandson; and one great-grandson.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton chapel and burial will be in the Billings Cemetey, Beaverton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A special memorial service by the Order of the Eastern Star will be held Thursday evening. Gladwin County Record dated 1-17/1996.
