Betty Sue Perry, 57, of Ocilla, Georgia died Saturday, December 17, 2011, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, December 20, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. David Biggers and the Rev. Steve Hand officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 Monday evening.
Mrs. Perry was born January 23, 1954 in Fitzgerald, GA to Irene White Anderson and the late Don L. Anderson. She was a 1971 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and a 1974 graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with a degree in Nursing. She was a nurse at Tift Regional Medical Center and was a former employee of Haile Drug Store. A member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Tifton, she enjoyed singing and attending church.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sandie and Shane Green of Tifton, GA; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Amanda Perry of Ashburn, GA; grandchildren, Jaisy and Reece Green and Jake, Ben and Rivers Perry; mother, Irene White Anderson of Fitzgerald; sisters, Donna (David) Biggers of Fitzgerald and Judy (Rickey) Latham of Ocilla; brother, Donald (Jeannie) Anderson of Ocilla; and several nieces and nephews.
