Edna Tefft

Edna Mae Tefft, 76, of Emmett, Idaho, died of congestive heart failure on March 17, 2009, at home with her children at her side.

Her graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Arrangement were made with the Potter Funeral Chapel Emmett, Idaho.

Edna was born on Dec. 22, 1932, to Robert and Violet Fern Hall Harless at Woodland, Calif. She graduated from high school in 1950 at Everett, Wash.

Edna worked as a bookkeeper and a real estate agent. She owned and operated two restaurants, The Kitchen at McCall, Idaho, and the Fireside Inn at Baker City.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands, Gordan Erickson, Tommy Hammond, Clyde Barlow and Art Tefft.

Survivors include her son, Robert “Bob” Barlow and his wife, Shannon, and their sons, Rob, Andrew and Jeffrey of Monmouth; her daughter, Kari Appleton, and her husband, Phil, and their daughters, Kat, Bitsie, and Annie of Silverton; and many friends and family who will miss her dearly.
