Thomas Bown, 84, father of Mrs. Claud Coble, died Thursday in the Coble home near Bow, from an attack of heart trouble. Although in an enfeebled condition, his sudden death was unexpected. For the past several months Mr. Bown has made his home with his daughter. He was an old soldier, having served in the Civil war. Surviving relatives are three daughters, Mrs. Claud Coble, of Bow; Mrs Irving Hopper of Monroe, and Mrs. John Woods, of California, one son, Walter, a brother Frank Bown of MO. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
