The funeral for Corbin Hibdon Jr., 55, was held Wednesday, September 2, 1998 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Bro. Odell Powell officiated and burial followed in Centerhill Cemetery.
He died Sunday, August 30, 1998 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center following a short illness. A resident of McMinnville and a Cannon County native, his parents were the late Corbin and Eliza Hale Hibdon. He was a member of Pleasant View Church of Christ and a school bus driver.
Mr. Hibdon is survived by his wife, Gladys Blanton Hibdon of Woodbury; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Barry and Darnette Hibdon, Larry and Cecilia Hibdon and Gary Hibdon all of Woodbury; four grandchildren: Terry, Lesley, Shara and Shenna Hibdon all of Woodbury; one brother: Aubrey Hibdon of Woodbury; two sisters: Margaret Campbell of Smithville and Lorene Walker of Murfreesboro.
Woodbury Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
