MRS. ADDIE SEALEY, LONG TIME RESIDENT HERE SUCCUMBS

Mrs. Addie Sealey, a long-time resident of this community, passed away at the home of her son, Wayne, Wednesday, after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Sealey was in her 74th year. She is survived by five sons and one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Pulley of Oakland, Calif.; Maurice, of Colome, S. Dak.; Glen, of Hot Springs, S. Dak.; Paul, of Price, Utah; Wayne and Ted of King City, and several grandchildren, one brother, Orville Brown of King City; one sister, Mrs. D. N. Fore, of Albany.

Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p. m., at the Methodist church, conducted by W. C. Whitehouse, assisted by Rev. Edgar Clapp. Burial in King City cemetery (sic). The body is at the Taggart Funeral Service. Obituary next week.

OBITUARY - MRS. SEALEY

Addie Brown, daughter of Thomas J. and Rebecca Brown, was born near Berlin, May 22, 1866, in which community she grew to womanhood, She was united in marriage on October 18, 1887, to George Franklin Sealey, who passed away July 12, 1924.

To this union seven children were born, a daughter, E. Luella, died after reaching young womanhood. The surviving children are as follows: A daughter, Mrs. Mabel E. Pulley, Oakland, Calif.; five sons: Maurice E., Colome, South Dakota; Glenn A., Hot Springs, South Dakota; Paul F., Price, Utah; Theodore V. and Wayne, of King City.

Mrs. Sealey united with the Baptist Church at Berlin, many years ago and held her membership there at the time of her death.

She had been in failing health for some time and passed away at the home of her son, Wayne, northeast of King City, last Wednesday, December 11th, at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 20 days.

In addition to the six children already mentioned, she is survived by a brother, Judge Orville Brown, King City, and a sister, Mrs. D. N. Fore, Albany, and seventeen grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in King City, Saturday at 2 p. m., conducted by W. C. Whitehouse, and Rev. Edgar Clapp, and burial was in the King City cemetery (sic).
