Audrey Elaine "Payne" Croson, 60, of Kearneysville, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 15, 1950, in Purcellville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Charles Perryman Payne and Edith Virginia "Fields" Payne. She worked as a food service specialist at the Dulles Airport. She is survived by one son, Chris Croson and wife, Mary; one daughter, Brenda Tumblin; five grandchildren, Austin, Christopher Jr., Cameron, Kaden, and Noah, all of Kearneysville; one brother, Charles Payne, and wife, Angie; two sisters, Joyce Barley and husband, Robert, and Kathleen Danner and husband, Harry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Croson Sr.; and one sister, Mary Ann Dodson.
