He was 89, a resident of Baton Rouge, native of DeRidder and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II who served in the European Theater. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Sunday, March 12, was from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visiting resumes on Monday in the funeral home chapel from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Tony Hand. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Wilda Jeanette Stewart Hall; three sons, Stewart Erwin Hall, Gary Kendall Hall and Dale Arnold Hall; two sisters, Ruth Young of Jonesville and Dot Johnson of Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Joseph Hall, Lindsey Hall, Matthew Hall, Danielle Hall, Andrea Springer, Lundyn Springer and Kendall Hall; and great-grandchild, Wesley Hooper. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry E. Hall and Queen Coleman Hall; and two brothers and three sisters. His sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2041 Silverside Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70808.
