Connie S. Switzer was born May 15, 1944 in Clifton, Kansas the daughter of Melvin & Bernadine (Schumaker) LeClair. On Tuesday, September 23, 2014 Connie passed away at her home near Abilene.She spent her youth in the Clifton-Clyde area graduating from Clyde High School.On January 18, 1964 she married Dennis Switzer in Clyde, Kansas. Connie enjoyed gardening in her flower garden as well as shopping for antiques. But she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.Connie worked for Alco in the Corporate Office, was a business manager for Memorial Hospital, and a teller for Pinnacle Bank. Cremation was selected and the family will have a private graveside service at the Abilene Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Connie Switzer Memorial fund for the benefit of her grandchildrens education or to Hospice of Dickinson County and may be sent in care of the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 NW 3rd, Abilene, Kansas 67410.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.martinbeckercarlson.com
