Mary G. (Dina) Paternosh, 89, of Clark St., Westfield, died Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Waters Of Westfield. Mrs. Paternosh was born January 28, 1917 in Westfield, N.Y., the daughter of the late James and Santa (Anzelmo) Dina. A lifelong resident of Westfield, she was a cook at the former Pinter´s Restaurant and had been employed by the former Barmon Brothers Sewing Factory in Westfield, and retired in 1979 as a custodian at Westfield Academy and Central School. She enjoyed Tuesdays when she would go to the YWCA for lunch with her friends and Bingo night the Westfield Fire Exempt Hall. She also enjoyed knitting afghans for her family and crocheting blankets and sweaters for her grandchildren. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Paternosh was a member of St. James Major Roman Catholic Church and a life member of St. James Major Altar And Rosary Society, She is survived by two daughters, Sandy (Larry) Johnston and Cothilde Woleben both of Westfield, N.Y., as well as by four sons, Vincent (Judie) Paternosh of Fredonia, N.Y., Sam (MaryLou) Paternosh of Falconer, N.Y., Joseph Paternosh, Jr., and Frank (Jean) Paternosh, both of Westfield, N.Y. She is also survived by two sisters, Santa Ricci of N.H., and Rose (Charlie) Criscione of Westfield, N.Y. 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Paternosh, who died on June 13, 1991; her daughter, Beatrice Cerrie; and her three sisters, Carrie Mele, Josephine Caci, and Anna Mele.
