SPARTA, GEORGIA--William J. (W.J.) Miller, 73, died Thursday, January 18, 2001, in a Milledgeville hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Knowles Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Stiles Cobb officiating.
Mr. Miller was a native of Baldwin County and lived in Hancock County for most of his life. He was the son of the late Sam Miller and the late Jennie Miller Miller. Mr. Miller was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He was retired from the automobile service station business. He was a member of Knowles Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel Johnson Miller of Sparta,
a daughter, Crystal Skinner of Warrenton; a son, Ricky Miller of Tennille; and two grandchildren.
Williams White Columns Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
