Frank's 1st wife Elizabeth Abbey Yinger Coontz, Beth, died 1962, survived by 2nd wife Gloria. 2 sons, Frank Jr., b. 1956 & Tommy W., b.1959. Loved his family. Loved outdoors: camping, hunting & fishing. USAF, stationed in Korea. Civilian at Alcon Aluminum in Riverside, CA; then at L A Aluminum Casting in Hayden Lake, ID with his brother James (Bud). He had another brother, Bill, and 4 sisters. Parents: Frank and Gertrude (Haley) Coontz. His wife Gloria recently died in 2007, never remarried after his death.

Franklin R Coontz, 42, a former resident of Riverside, died in Spokane, Wash., Sept. 13.
Mr Coontz, a native of St. Louis, Mo., was an employee of L. A. Aluminum Casting in Idaho. He was an Air Force veteran.
Funeral services were held Sept. 17 in Athol, Idaho.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria of Athol; three sons, [stepson]George of Riverside; Franklin Jr. and Tommy, both of Idaho; five [step]daughters, Robin Robertson, Dianna Silva, and Edith Luther, all of Riverside; Susanna Coontz of San Jose and Kathleen Coontz of Idaho; two brothers, F.W. and James Coontz; four sisters, Frances J. Sanders, Betty Harvey, Jean Baker and Judy Wright; and three grandchildren.
