He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Kane McGuigan; parents, Donald and Doris McGuigan; his brother, Donald McGuigan Jr.; and his granddaughter, Amber Faith McGuigan.
He is survived by his daughters, Colleen McGuigan (Gene Berndt) and Maureen Kamischke (Kent); his sister-in-law, Patricia McGuigan; four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Daniel, Kate, and Maren; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
He was a retired employee of Singer-Link and a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving in the US Air Force.
A private viewing will be held for the family.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Parish of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
