Mrs. Thyra Grace Fairman, 55, Creekside RD 1, formerly of NuMine, died of a heart attack Saturday, Nov. 27,1971, at 3:30 a.m. in the Indiana Hospital.
A daughter of Charles H. and Alfleeta Reefer Meyer, she was born April 6, 1916, in Plumcreek Twp.
She had been residing at the residence of Steve Matty of Creekside RD 1.
Surviving is a son, Leon E. Fairman Jr., Bethlehem; a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Trayer, Erie; three grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs. Joanne Harbison, Johnson City, N.Y.; Mrs. Marie Boyer, Apollo; Mrs. Martha Altman, Shelocta RD 1; a brother, Vernon Meyer, Kittanning RD 1.
Friends were received at the Clark Funeral Home, Elderton, Sunday where services were held today at 1 p.m. The Rev. Vaughn D. Taylor officiated and interment was made in the Elderton Cemetery.
