Joseph's obituary stated he was living in Jacksonville in 1913.

Well I found this article in the paper the next year --
News Herald (Hillsboro, Ohio), 7/23/1914, p 2, c 4:
"Mrs Charles Richards received a letter Wednesday from Thomas Greathouse in New York City, who formerly lived here, stating that he would sail Saturday to Brazil and expected to locate in that country."

Mrs Charles Richards was formerly Elizabeth Faris and Granville or Thomas' cousin.
