ADAMS CO. PIONEER WOMAN IS CALLED
DECATUR, Ind. March 20 - Esther Ann Welty, 83, widow of Abraham Welty, a pioneer resident of Union township, died this morning at ten o'clock of infirmities of age. She made her home with her only son, William. A daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Bittner died several years ago. The deceased was a brother of
the late J. S. Lower.
Of the ten children of her paternal family, but two are living. They are William S. Lower of Whiting, Kas., and Rev. J. W. Lower of Warsaw. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, sun time, from the Pleasant Grove church. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley cemetery.
